The Challenge

Subcontractors represented approximately 60 percent of the workforce across active sites, yet no consistent process existed to verify subcontractor safety performance before or during a project. An incident involving a subcontracted crew confirmed that liability exposure extended well beyond direct payroll, exposing a systemic gap between the credentials submitted at bid time and the safety performance sustained once work began.

Our Approach

Synergy Nexus engineered a contractor prequalification and ongoing monitoring program incorporating pre-award screening, safety performance requirements embedded directly into contract terms, and a standardized scorecard applied at every site visit. The scorecard was calibrated to a five-minute completion standard, engineered from direct site-manager input to ensure sustained adoption under real operating conditions.
